Las Vegas hotels are well-known for their extravagant decor, amenities, and attractions designed to impress their guests. However, you don’t have to be a hotel guest to appreciate some of the most stunning hotel lobbies on the Strip.
Many, if not all, are open to the public, allowing anyone to witness the luxurious designs. Visiting these over-the-top hotels is one of my favorite (and most inexpensive) ways to spend time on the Vegas Strip.

The Best Vegas Hotel Lobbies
The Las Vegas Strip is known for its entertainment, grand casinos, and luxurious hotels, each with its unique lobby. Some of these lobbies are exceptional and stand out from the rest.
As someone who has visited Las Vegas for many years, I have compiled a list of the best Vegas hotel lobbies you must visit. These lobbies are not just entryways but are attractions in themselves.
Each lobby shows off the opulence, fantasy, and spirit of Las Vegas.
Bellagio Hotel & Casino
The Bellagio is famous for its stunning interior design, including the Botanical Gardens and the Dale Chihuly glass flower sculpture on the lobby ceiling.
As you step into the Bellagio hotel lobby from the Strip, you will be mesmerized by the explosion of colors from 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers.
This awe-inspiring sculpture, known as Fiori di Como, was created by the renowned Seattle artist Dale Chihuly. You can also admire his entire gallery at Chihuly Garden and Glass, located at the base of Seattle’s Space Needle.
Beyond this centerpiece is the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, which showcase elaborate and beautiful floral displays that change with the seasons.
It’s my absolute favorite place to visit in Las Vegas.
The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, just steps off the lobby, is free to enter and at its most stunning at night when the gardens are illuminated.
In addition to these two displays, which should not be missed, make sure you catch one of the spectacular outdoor fountain shows synchronized to music just outside the lobby.
The Venetian Las Vegas
The Venetian’s lobby is designed to make visitors feel like they’ve been transported to Venice, Italy.
The lobby features an Italian Renaissance theme with marble floors, Roman columns, and hand-painted murals on the 65-foot ceiling.
The centerpiece is an indoor Grand Canal, complete with gondolas that guests can ride through the lobby for a unique experience unlike any other hotel in Las Vegas.
The tile floors, bridges, and Venice landmarks help transform this Vegas hotel into an Italian getaway.
The lobby is decorated with Renaissance-era artwork, from reproductions to authentic pieces acquired from Italy. Upscale shops and restaurants line the walkways for guests to enjoy shopping or dining with a view of the Grand Canal.
The Venetian lobby is free to enter and explore.
While gondola rides require tickets, you can still see the canals, shops, restaurants, and artwork at no cost. You can even enjoy the voices of the gondoliers as you wander through the shops of the Grand Canal.

One piece of art you may not notice unless you look up is “Silver River.” This installation made of reclaimed silver traces the path of the Colorado River, offering guests a peaceful moment in the heart of the bustling Strip.
As you explore the ARIA’s lobby, you might also stumble upon pop-up art installations, such as the one below, that blend whimsy with technology.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
Like ARIA, The Cosmopolitan’s lobby is a contemporary art lover’s dream, with digital installations and modern artwork around every corner.
The lobby bars are spectacular, with the three-story Chandelier Bar as the centerpiece. With 2 million beads hanging in strands to form a massive chandelier, you must stop here for a drink.
Digital art installations use technology to create unexpected experiences through projection mapping and reactive displays. A collection of contemporary artwork is scattered throughout the lobby, waiting to be discovered.
In addition to artwork, the Cosmopolitan lobby features trendy restaurants like Zuma, Scarpetta, and Momofuku, as well as the famous Marquee nightclub.
Floor-to-ceiling windows showcase stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip. Everything is open-concept, so you can explore the lobby, artwork, bars, and restaurants even if you’re not staying at the hotel. It’s a lively scene from morning to night.

At night, the lobby truly comes alive when the lights shine on the flowing fountains for a sight reminiscent of the Roman Forum.
Adjacent to the lobby are the high-end Forum Shops, allowing guests to enjoy world-class shopping without ever leaving the hotel.
The lobby provides easy access to Restaurant Row, which features celeb chef outposts. You’ll find restaurants by some of Food Network’s biggest stars, such as Bobby Flay, Giada De Laurentiis, and Guy Fieri.

Upon entering the MGM Grand lobby, you will find a spacious atrium filled with exotic flowers that bring a sense of life and freshness.
You cannot miss the famous bronze lion statue at the entrance, which symbolizes the hotel’s name and represents strength and entertainment.
Beyond the main entrance, the lobby leads to a huge casino floor, a network of famous restaurants, and the hotel’s own “city of entertainment.”
Wynn & Encore Resorts
The Wynn and Encore hotels feature a welcoming waterfall exterior along with fragrant lobby interiors that focus on natural elements like flowers, trees, and light.
One sight you won’t want to miss is the Lake of Dreams show in the Wynn. This state-of-the-art water attraction is a multimedia experience that begins at dusk. Shows run every half-hour until 11:30 PM. Head to the Bar Parasol for the best free view.
Wander through the lobby, which is free and open to the public to enter and explore.
The best times to visit are in the early morning to enjoy the natural light and in the late evening when the lobby lighting creates a dramatic effect.
Even if you’re not staying at the Wynn, the lobby is a must-see in Las Vegas.

The best times to visit are usually in the morning before crowds pick up or at night when you can see the lobby decor fully lit up and lively. Weekday mornings tend to be less busy than weekends.
You can pick up a free map at most hotel front desks or concierge desks for self-guided touring. Bellagio, Aria, and Caesars Palace have large properties that are easier to navigate with a map showing the key landmarks.
Make time to experience more than just the lobby. There are plenty of free or cheap things to do in Vegas to keep you busy.
The dress code in most Las Vegas hotels is resort casual, though you may want to dress up a bit if you plan to stay for a nicer dinner. Just don’t wear swimsuits, coverups, or gym clothes around these Vegas hotel lobbies and restaurants.
Photography is allowed, so feel free to snap pics of your favorite sights. Just be mindful not to use selfie sticks, tripods, or other accessories that can obstruct foot traffic.
