Getting Around Vegas
The Las Vegas Strip is less than five miles from Harry Reid International Airport (formerly McCarran International Airport).
Taxis, Ride Shares, Shuttles, and Limousines are easily accessible at the airport. You just need to follow the signs once you land.
You do not need to rent a car unless you plan to go to places off the Strip like Red Rock, Seven Magic Mountains, or the Hoover Dam. Even then, many tour companies are available and include transportation.
Best Things to Do on a Las Vegas Girls Trip
Start your first day with a delightful brunch at one of Vegas’s chic spots before exploring the city’s dazzling hotel lobbies. Don’t miss my guide to the must-see Las Vegas hotel lobbies to make sure you catch all the best spots!
Enjoy a Boozy Brunch
Begin your first morning with brunch. Las Vegas is known for its amazing brunch scene, and there are definitely some great boozy brunch options on the Strip.
My top recommendations include CATCH at Aria, Lavo Party Brunch at The Palazzo, Hash House a Go Go at the Linq, and an upscale boozy brunch buffet at The Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan.
You will love the photo ops at CATCH, not to mention the amazing cinnamon roll pancakes.
Lavo is where you go when you want to start your day with a party and bottomless cocktails. The elaborate and endless Italian brunch includes everything from pizza to oysters to pancakes your way.
For a hearty brunch, you must try Hash House a Go Go. Their portions are outrageously enormous. You are sure to find your favorite new cocktail at the Tractor Bar.
Lastly, the Wicked Spoon can’t be beaten when you need a place to please everyone at a reasonable price, at least for Vegas.
The delicious food choices include favorites like ricotta pancakes, brioche French toast, chicken and waffles, avocado toast, and giant crab legs.
Visit a Top-Rated Spa for a Day of Pampering
Las Vegas is home to some of the most luxurious spas in the world, and a Vegas girls’ trip wouldn’t be complete without a visit to at least one of them.
You must check out three spas: The Spa at ARIA, Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace, and The Sahra Spa & Hammam at The Cosmopolitan.
The award-winning Spa at ARIA offers extensive services, including personalized massages, facials, and body treatments.
The relaxation lounge overlooks the beautiful ARIA pool area, and the spa’s Ganbanyoku room, a Japanese-style heated stone bed, is a unique experience.
Qua is a massive 50,000-square-foot spa that offers a Roman-inspired experience with its Roman baths, Laconium steam room, and Arctic Ice Room. They also offer a range of massages, facials, and body treatments.
The serene Sahra Spa has a Moroccan theme and features a Hammam, a traditional Turkish bath experience. They offer a range of treatments, including massages, facials, and body scrubs. You can also enjoy the steam room, sauna, and outdoor hot tubs.
Catch a Show
Las Vegas has world-class entertainment, from magic shows and acrobatic performances to concerts by some of the biggest names in music.
Of course, I would recommend seeing a concert in Vegas, but many of the long-standing shows are also fabulous.
You can’t go wrong with the Cirque du Soleil show, “O” at the Bellagio, KÀ by Cirque du Soleil at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, or Michael Jackson ONE at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino – all of which are amazing!
After catching an amazing show in Las Vegas, take advantage of all the city has to offer without breaking the bank.

A Las Vegas Girls Trip Pool Party
Las Vegas is famous for its pool parties.
There’s no better way to soak up the sun than at a rooftop pool with breathtaking city views or at a day club pool party with live music.
Choose one of these amazing day clubs to hang out with your besties and catch some rays in the desert.
Be ready to spend some money, though, because these spots are not cheap.
Some of the top picks for great music and amazing atmosphere include Drai’s Beachclub and Nightclub at The Cromwell, The Venetian’s Tao Beach Day Club, The Encore Beach Club at Encore, and finally, the Marquee Day Club at Cosmopolitan.
Drai’s Beachclub at The Cromwell
Drai’s is a popular rooftop pool and nightclub located on the 11th floor of The Cromwell Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.
The stunning rooftop pool boasts amazing views of the city skyline, as well as VIP cabanas, bungalows, and daybeds. The club also features a dance floor and world-renowned DJs.
Tao Beach Day Club at Venetian
Spend your day at one of the most iconic and popular pool parties in Las Vegas, Tao Beach, at the Venetian.
The pool area is impressive, featuring multiple levels, cabanas, daybeds, and a DJ booth that’s located in the center of the pool.
Known for its energetic atmosphere and high-energy vibe, partygoers at Tao Beach Club won’t want to leave when the sun goes down.
Encore Beach Club at Encore
The Encore Beach Club is a popular day club located at the Encore Hotel in Las Vegas.
Encore is a massive 60,000-square-foot pool party on the strip side of the Encore Resort, accessible from Wynn.
The club boasts beautiful, temperature-controlled pools surrounded by daybeds and private cabanas.
With three pools, multiple bars, cabanas, and daybeds, EBC is a luxurious and vibrant location that is one of the most popular day clubs on The Strip.
Wet Republic at MGM Grand
Wet Republic is located at the MGM Grand and is open during the pool season, typically from March through September.
It features two large saltwater pools, eight individual pools and spas, and 6,000 square feet of plush seating space.
The cabanas are luxurious and include a flat-screen TV, refrigerator, and a personal safe for your belongings.
The day club also has a main stage where world-renowned DJs perform, adding to the overall party atmosphere.
As for dress code, Wet Republic is known for its trendy and fashionable crowd.
I recommend wearing something chic and stylish. Bathing suits are encouraged, but cover-ups and resort wear are also acceptable.
I highly recommend reserving a cabana or daybed in advance, as they tend to sell out quickly.
You can also purchase general admission tickets at the door, but be prepared for long lines and potentially higher prices.
Marquee Day Club at Cosmopolitan
Finally, the Marquee Day Club at the Cosmopolitan is just as jumping during the day as it is at night.
This day club offers an unparalleled pool party experience that attracts partygoers from all over the world.
With its stunning infinity pools, luxurious cabanas, and energetic atmosphere, the Marquee Day Club is the ultimate destination for a high-energy pool party.
Pool Party Crawl on a Party Bus
One of the best and cheapest ways to visit multiple pool parties is with a Las Vegas 3-Stop Pool Party Crawl on board a party bus!
You’ll start the day by boarding a luxury party bus that is fully stocked and ready to ensure your journey is as fun as your destination.
Your experienced party host will get you into the best Las Vegas pool parties. Skip the lines and feel like a VIP as you soak up the sun, dance to the music, and enjoy the ultimate pool party experience.
Take a Helicopter Tour
For a bucket-list experience that can’t be beaten, there’s a Las Vegas helicopter tour to suit any taste and budget.
There is nothing like seeing the lights of Las Vegas from the sky or venturing out to the Grand Canyon for breathtaking views of the city and surrounding natural landmarks.
Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour
One of the most popular tours is the Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour.
Take a scenic flight over the iconic Hoover Dam and into the stunning Grand Canyon.
Another great option is the Las Vegas Strip Helicopter Tour.
This thrilling flight over the bright lights of the city’s iconic skyline lasts around 15-20 minutes.
It offers unparalleled views of the city’s most famous landmarks, including the Bellagio fountains and the Luxor Pyramid.

Learn to Gamble
Las Vegas is the gambling capital of the world, so why not try your luck at the tables?
Many casinos offer free beginner-friendly lessons. Learn the rules and strategies of popular games like blackjack, craps, and poker.
You can learn how to play table games at these casinos along the Las Vegas Strip:
Circus Circus has daily lessons for Blackjack at 10:30 am, Roulette at 11:30 am, and Craps at 12:30 pm.
Luxor Hotel & Casino gives daily lessons for Craps, Blackjack, and Roulette at 12 noon.
The Venetian Casino offers free gaming lessons from Monday to Friday at the gaming tables near the Casino Cage.
We stopped to learn how to play Craps on our last girl’s trip to Vegas and had a blast playing through the night.
Shop ’til You Drop on Your Girls’ Trip to Vegas
Las Vegas is home to some of the most glamorous shopping destinations in the world.
Go window shopping at the high-end boutiques of The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Find your favorite shops at the sprawling Fashion Show Mall, or get lost in the canal-lined shops at The Grand Canal.
Fashion Show Mall
Fashion Show Mall is the largest shopping destination in Las Vegas.
Here, you and your friends will find a wide range of shopping options, from luxury designer boutiques to affordable fashion retailers.
In addition to shopping, Fashion Show Mall has a super fun and colorful photo opportunity called the Rainbow Stairway. Okay, that may not be its official name. But this vibrant staircase is located at the south end of the outdoor Plaza.
It features a rainbow of colors that gradually blend together, creating a truly stunning visual experience.
The rainbow stairway is one of many great places to capture the perfect Las Vegas Instagram shot. The bright colors make for a striking backdrop for a group photo.
Forum Shops
The Forum Shops is one of the most iconic shopping destinations on the Las Vegas Strip. Look up to see its amazing painted ceiling.
Inside, you will find some unique attractions. The Fall of Atlantis fountain show and the Spiral Escalator, which is the first of its kind in the United States, are both located here.
Grand Canal Shoppes
Another great shopping destination I recommend is The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian.
The Grand Canal Shoppes is an indoor shopping mall designed to resemble the streets of Venice, complete with gondola rides and street performers.
You’ll also find the giant LOVE art installation there.
With their wide range of stores, entertainment options, and dining choices, you and your friends will surely have a memorable shopping experience during your girls weekend in Las Vegas.

Explore the Fremont Street Experience
If you want to experience old-school Vegas, head to the Fremont Street Experience.
The Fremont Street Experience is a must-visit attraction in downtown Las Vegas.
It’s a pedestrian mall with a canopy of LED lights that stretch 90 feet above the street, creating a spectacular light show every night.
The canopy comprises of 12.5 million LED lights and is the largest LED screen in the world!
It is also home to several casinos, restaurants, and bars. You can try your luck at the slot machines or enjoy a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants.
And if you’re looking for some entertainment, there are street performers and live music shows throughout the day.
One of the highlights of the Fremont Street Experience is the Viva Vision light show.
This is a free, 6-minute light and sound show that takes place every hour on the hour from dusk until midnight.
The show features music from some of the world’s biggest artists, including The Who, Bon Jovi, and Queen.
I highly recommend checking out the Fremont Street Experience on your girl’s trip to Vegas. It’s a unique and exciting attraction that’s perfect for all ages.

Take in the Las Vegas Nightlife
Las Vegas is famous for its lively nightlife, and a visit to one of the best nightclubs would be perfect for a girls’ trip to Vegas.
The city is a 24-hour city, so you can party all night long if you want to.
Las Vegas has all kinds of clubs: big and small, high-end and cheap…even underground!
You must check out at least one of these: Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace, XS Nightclub at Encore, Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand, and the Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan.
Omnia Nightclub
The sprawling Omnia Nightclub is one of the hottest spots in Vegas.
The multiple levels, stunning decor, and rooftop terrace with amazing views of the Strip are impressive.

The massive Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand features a stunning main room with a state-of-the-art sound system.
Hakkasan also has several private rooms and VIP areas. The music is always on point, with top DJs worldwide, and the atmosphere is upscale and vibrant.
Finally, you have to make a stop at The Cosmopolitan. With seven bars and lounges, you have so many options.
Marquee Nightclub
The multi-level Marquee Nightclub features various rooms and areas, each with its own unique vibe. The music is always lively, with top DJs spinning everything from hip-hop to EDM.
There are plenty of VIP options available, including private tables and bottle service.
I know loud music and raging crowds aren’t for everyone. For a nightclub on the strip with a more laid-back vibe, check out On the Record at the Park at MGM.
On the Record
This venue is designed to look like a record store, with multiple rooms and a hidden speakeasy. The music is usually a mix of Top 40 and retro hits, making it a great option for those who want to dance to some classic tunes.
The Chandelier Bar
Finally, for a great place to relax and have a cocktail, visit The Chandelier Bar. It is one of the most popular bars at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The three-story bar is covered in more than 2 million crystals, giving it a stunning and unique appearance.
One of the things that set the Chandelier Bar apart is its different levels, each with its own vibe and atmosphere.
The first level is the most casual, with a lounge area and a few tables. The second level is a bit more upscale, with a private bar and seating areas. And the third level is the most exclusive, with a more intimate setting and private booths.
Overall, the Chandelier Bar is a must-visit spot if you’re looking for a unique and luxurious bar experience in Las Vegas.
With so many options, you will surely have an unforgettable night out in Las Vegas.
Where to Stay on a Girls Trip to Vegas
The first thing we do when we arrive in Las Vegas is check in to our hotel. We usually stay at Mandalay Bay, or The Vdara because of their spacious suites.
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino
Mandalay Bay’s luxurious suites are perfect for a girls trip to Vegas.
The Mandalay Bay Panoramic Two-Bedroom Suite is a spacious suite with incredible floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive views of the Las Vegas Strip.
I’ve also stayed in the Moorea Suite, which is equally impressive.
The suites have plenty of space for your group to hang out. They also come with a complimentary entrance to the Spa and The Foundation Room, which is the 63rd-floor rooftop club.
Your group will love the pool areas, spa, and restaurants.
The resort is at the end of the Strip, so you’ll need to walk or take a ride-share to most places.
Vdara Hotel & Spa at ARIA
Vdara is another favorite hotel because of its central location on the Las Vegas Strip, making it easy to reach other attractions.
The Vdara Suite is a spacious and modern suite that’s perfect for a group of friends. It includes a pull-out sofa bed, a kitchenette, and a dining table for four. The suite also features a large soaking tub and a separate shower.
With spacious suites and plenty of amenities, you and your friends will have a great time.
Make sure to ask for a room overlooking the Bellagio fountains.
The Vdara does not have its own casino, but it is connected to the Aria, Bellagio, and Cosmopolitan through walkways and a tram.
When we head to Las Vegas for a last-minute Vegas girls trip, we stay at either New York, New York, or MGM Grand since both are affordable and centrally located.
Both hotels have recently updated their rooms, too.
There are affordable restaurants in and around both hotels. The entertainment options at both casinos are numerous.
The dueling piano bar in New York, New York, entertains you with popular songs and interactive audience participation.
Hakkusan at MGM is one of the more popular nightclubs on the Strip.
No matter which you choose, you will love their locations.
Now that you’ve settled in, head out to explore the Strip!
